High Tech Oral Cancer Screening is Available
Our office has invested in a high tech device that uses fluoresence visualization technology to aid us in early detection of oral cancers. The device, called the Velscope, is painless, non-invasive and involves no unpleasant rinses or stains. It uses safe blue light which excites oral tissues, causing it to "glow" differently if it is abnormal. Dr. Alan Cooper strives to ensure we use the best techniques to ensure we discover issues before they are bigger problems.
